Final round day packages on sale
The new phase of ticket sale for the 2018 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in Denmark offers day tickets for the final round.
Already 120,000 tickets at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen and at Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning have been sold at the beginning of the ticket sale and on Friday at 11:00 the next stage has started with day tickets for the medal games, the semi-final games and the quarter-final games on sale.
There are also good news for fans of the Danish national team. Following changes in the seating setup in Herning, a small number of new tickets was made available for games of the Danish national team.
“We are pleased with the ticket sale until today,” said Henrik Bach Nielsen, the chairman of the Danish Ice Hockey Association and an IIHF Council member.
“Now we enter a new phase with the release of the day tickets for the playoff stage where the prices for the day tickets of the quarter-finals start at €75, for the semi-finals at €130 and for the medal day at €150. And these prices include two games. The tickets for the Danish games were sold like hot cakes, so we are glad that in co-operation with the International Ice Hockey Federation we have been able to make slight changes at Jyske Bank Boxen to be able to release extra tickets for the Denmark games.”
